Any graduating senior from a TREA member school district who will attend a post graduate program the following school year.
Yes. A school district may submit no more than 3 scholarship applications.
Yes. A student must agree to attend the opening banquet of the TREA summer conference held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. to personally receive the recognition. TREA will pay for one night’s lodging at the DFW Marriott Hotel in Fort Worth where the event is being held.
No. Just enter their initials to show that they are aware of the application and the other requirements.
We will also accept the approval of the high school principal.
No. Students just need to provide the association with their notice of acceptance by the institution they will be attending. The check is mailed to the student to use as you see fit to help with your expenses.
The scholarship amount for 2018 is $1500.00. We will award 25 scholarships in that amount.
Yes. A student who is selected for a scholarship award will be notified by May 1st. They will be required to submit a picture which will be used in our program and other media.
