“TREA truly understands rural schools. As a former TREA Superintendent of the Year and with a board that’s been recognized as well, I can confidently say their annual conference is where our Team of 8 goes to grow together. The sessions are practical, the support is real, and the solutions are designed for small schools like ours.”
— Shelly Slaughter, Superintendent, Cumby Collegiate ISD

“The TREA Annual Conference is the best summer conference the state of Texas has to offer for all Rural Educators and board members. TREA provides so many resources a district our size cannot afford on our own. They have helped us change the culture of our district with our PR department, they provide detailed legislative updates weekly, and most importantly the network is like no other organization I have ever been associated with.”
— Jeff Byrd, Superintendent, Dalhart ISD
