Of the Year Awards

Teacher Of the Year and Superintendent Of the Year awards were first introduced in 2007 by Dr. Don Rogers with Principal and School Board added later. 

Teacher Of the Year is highlighted the keynote speaker at the Awards Lunch during the TREA Annual Conference.

Eligibility: Nominee must be employed by a TREA member district
Recognition: Presented during the 2026 TREA Annual Conference
Prize: $1,500 stipend for each recipient*
