Start a Robotics Program at Your School:
TREA supports and collaborates with the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation's efforts under the Texas High School Robotics Initiative.

The REC Foundation and TREA are offering several different grant options to rural districts and TREA members. Applications will open in late Summer of 2024. Apply this summer while the grants are available! Send your questions to the REC Foundation at [email protected] or 508-713-5000.

What's available:
For New Teams
Robot kits valued at over $1,500
REC Foundation Annual Registration Fees valued at $150-$200 per team

For Existing Teams
REC Foundation Annual Registration Fees valued at $150 - $200 per team
Robotics Replacements Parts Grants valued at over $400

All Teams
The grants will become available in late summer at the website below.  In the meantime, it is a great place to get information about REC.
