It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of one of TREA's former Board Officers, Malinda Lindsay. She served on our Board for several years, and was dedicated to TREA and the schoolchildren of Texas.
Congratulations to these current TREA member district schools who placed in the top ten in their division of the UIL Lone Star Cup results for 2024!

Brian Stroman, TREA representative and Bloomburg ISD superintendent teamed up with ESC Region 8 School Safety Director Lee Gill to work with superintendent David Segers and Maud ISD on their District Vulnerability Assessment (DVA). The result was a No Findings report, the best possible outcome for a DVA. Great job, Maud ISD!
